Targo – Swiss airtightness and adhesive technology

Targo AG was founded in 1998 by engineer Vital Rohrer and chemist Hans Stocker. Thanks to extensive industry and technological expertise, a comprehensive product range for airtight building envelopes was developed. To meet the constantly evolving needs of the market, Targo continuously researches new solutions for the wide range of applications in airtight construction.

In 2008, the high-performance variable vapor control layer TargoVARIVAP was introduced, with several million square meters installed in homes across Europe to date.

Vapor control membranes and airtightness for secure constructions

Targo vapor control membranes ensure reliable airtightness and provide long-term protection against moisture damage. They regulate moisture transfer within the structure and prevent warm indoor air from entering the insulation in an uncontrolled manner.

Humidity-variable vapor control layers, in particular, adjust their diffusion resistance to environmental conditions. This reduces moisture ingress during winter while allowing the structure to dry out in summer. As a result, the safety and durability of the entire building envelope are significantly improved.

These systems are suitable for use in roofs, walls, and in combination with blown-in insulation. Together with coordinated adhesive systems, they create a permanently airtight construction that meets the requirements of modern building and renovation concepts.
