TargoVAP V25 is a professional, particularly robust yet flexible vapor barrier membrane
for interior construction. It is ideally suited for constructions with between-rafter insulation and, thanks to its translucent design, offers especially easy handling, as the substrate and overlaps remain more visible during installation.
The membrane is made of coated PP fleece (single-grade material), is ecologically and building-biology safe, and can be recycled without difficulty. For a permanently airtight installation, the coordinated products of Targo adhesive technology are recommended with system warranty.
Benefits
- Very robust yet flexible, high mechanical stability
- Translucent, makes alignment, overlaps, and handling easier
- Especially suitable for blown-in insulation, stable and practical for site use
- Single-grade coated PP fleece, recyclable and safe from a building-biology perspective
Installation
- Overlap: according to the marking line, at least 10 cm
- Laying direction: install the vapor barrier with the printed side facing the installer
- Blown-in insulation: relieve joints not located directly on the rafter with a support batten, install battens to carry the insulation weight before blowing in, create the blowing opening as a star cut
- Substrate: dry, dust-free, and grease-free, prime porous or dusty substrates if required, for example with TargoPRIMER S/W
- Seal overlaps airtight: for example with TargoRAPID or TargoBENDIX, press the bonding area firmly
- Wall connections: for example with TargoFIX SK or alternatively with TargoWALLIT / TargoWALLIT PLUS
- Seal penetrations: for example with TargoFlex or TargoBENDIX
