TargoVARIVAP N is a humidity-variable vapor barrier for controlled vapor diffusion in roof and wall constructions
Due to the VARIVAP effect, the membrane adapts its diffusion resistance depending on ambient humidity.
- Winter: high resistance, reduces moisture penetration
- Summer: low resistance, allows faster drying
The standard version TargoVARIVAP N is fleece-coated on one side and suitable for interior and exterior applications depending on the system design.
Installation
- Overlap: minimum 10 cm
- Installation direction: printed side facing installer
- Mechanical fixing and airtight sealing required
- Seal overlaps with TargoRAPID or TargoBENDIX
- Wall connections with TargoFIX SK or TargoWALLIT / PLUS
- Seal penetrations with TargoFlex or TargoBENDIX
- Prime dusty surfaces with TargoPRIMER S/W
