STEICOzell – Wood Fibre Blown-in Insulation, 15 kg Bag
STEICOzell is an ecological wood fibre blown-in insulation made from pure wood fibres for all closed cavities in roofs, walls and ceilings. The fibre material is installed under pressure using a blowing machine into the framing and completely fills cavities flexibly, seamlessly and without offcuts – even in complex constructions or where services run within the cavity.
Properties & Benefits
-
Seamless, offcut-free cavity insulation (flexible to fit any shape)
-
Vapour-permeable – increased structural safety
-
Very good winter insulation & excellent summer heat protection (high heat storage capacity)
-
Hygroscopic (moisture-buffering) for a comfortable indoor climate
-
Long-term settlement resistance with low material consumption
-
Particularly economical – no offcuts; sweepings can be reused
-
Sound and fire performance documentation available
Areas of Application
Blown-in insulation for closed building component cavities in roofs, walls and ceilings. In addition, STEICOzell can also be used as open blow-in insulation when it is blown as an exposed insulation layer onto horizontal, curved or moderately sloped surfaces (e.g. top-floor ceiling).
Installation
-
Installed using suitable blowing/open blow-in machine technology via hoses to the point of application.
-
According to the data sheet, installation is carried out by trained partners/licensed contractors in accordance with the approval.
-
Note on settlement resistance: prerequisite is the blown-in quantity according to the compaction table and an even distribution within the cavity.
