DOBAU® Plast S 5 kg – Liquid Waterproofing for Balconies, Terraces & Flat Roofs

DOBAU® Plast S is a liquid-applied, highly elastic waterproofing compound based on a polymer-bitumen emulsion – ideal for balconies, terraces and flat roofs for refurbishment and maintenance. The compound is thixotropic (non-sag), crack-bridging and solvent-free. Excellent adhesion to bitumen-based as well as mineral substrates – also easy to apply on slightly damp surfaces.

Application

1. Prepare the substrate: firm, even, clean; fill depressions > 5 mm beforehand.

2. Primer/pre-coat: For reliable bonding on e.g. old/new roofing membranes or sheet metal, a primer such as DOBAU® Voranstrich Duo is recommended.

3. Important: Do not use on tar-containing membranes (tar is incompatible).

4. Application: Apply at least 2 coats, with or without reinforcement inlay, e.g. DOBAU® Fleece.

5. Drying: Apply the next coat only after complete drying (depending on conditions 1–3 days).

6. Weather conditions: Component and ambient temperature > +5 °C; protect from rain/frost during drying.
