Flexible sealing, secure bonding: Bitumen Flex Sealing Tape
Flexible sealing tape with fleece and a coating made of high-adhesion elastomer bitumen. Especially suitable for bonding soft wood fibre boards to chimneys, valleys and roof window connections. Suitable for use in the base area of timber frame houses and as a moisture barrier. Stretchable up to 30%. Not UV-resistant, for sealing under coverings or in protected indoor areas.

Application instructions
- Surface must be dry, clean, dust-free and grease-free
- Surface must be abrasion-resistant and load-bearing
- No silicone residues or silicone-containing substrates
- Use universal primer on porous or mineral substrates
- Use Bitumen Primer V on soft wood fibre boards and old wooden sheathing
- Minimum temperature: 10 °C for tape and substrate
- For better adhesion, warm substrate and tape to approx. 20 °C
- Align tape, cut to size and remove release film step by step
- Apply tape and press down firmly
- Avoid voids and bubbles, ideally apply with a pressure roller
Note
The product is not compatible with silicone and must not come into contact with silicone-containing substrates. Please check suitability for your specific construction and substrate.
