DOMOFLEX Transparent adheres to most substrates without primer and can even be applied on wet, smooth surfaces in rain or snow – perfect for repairs and joints around the house.

Typical applications

DOMOFLEX is particularly suitable for expansion joints and connection joints, for example:

Adheres without primer to, among other things: masonry, concrete, plaster, wood, metal, glass, bitumen, PVC and many plastics.

Application – for a clean and tight seal

• Ensure contact surfaces are clean and sound.
• Backfill joints with PE backing rod in accordance with DIN 18540.
• Store the cartridge at room temperature before application.
• Smooth surfaces may be wet; porous substrates should be dry.
• Use plenty of soapy water for subsequent smoothing.
• Joint edges can be masked off (remove the tape immediately after jointing/smoothing).

Storage

Stable for at least 2 years when stored at room temperature; do not store above 60 °C, not sensitive to frost.
