Installation box for airtight electrical installations
Application
The installation box provides space for device boxes, cables and conduits where no dedicated installation layer is available.
It is mounted directly onto the vapour barrier and airtight layer and sealed airtight. This ensures compliance with DIN 4108-7, SIA 180 and OENORM B 8110-2 requirements.
The installation box can be used in both interior and exterior walls.
The oversized design prevents damage to the airtight layer when drilling openings for device boxes.
