The polyethylene (PE) vapor control membrane in a blue/white striped version for creating the airtight layer
and reducing water vapor diffusion in thermal insulation constructions. With a film thickness of 0.160 mm, it offers particularly stable, tear-resistant quality and is ideal for use in roof conversions, in timber stud walls, as well as in other wall and ceiling constructions.
A practical added benefit is the stripe grid with 10 cm spacing: it makes straight alignment, measuring, and clean cutting of the sheets easier – especially for recurring dimensions and connections.
The vapor control membrane has an approval for use in building construction and meets fire protection requirements in accordance with fire class B2 under DIN 4102. It is produced in Germany under quality-monitored manufacturing – ensuring consistent quality and safe installation.
For a vapor control layer that performs reliably over the long term, airtight installation is crucial: seams, connections and penetrations should be sealed professionally using suitable system adhesive tapes and sealants.
