TargoVAP V25 is a professional, particularly robust yet flexible vapour barrier
for interior applications. It is ideally suited for constructions with between-rafter insulation and, thanks to its translucent design, offers pleasantly easy handling (better visibility of the substrate and overlaps).
The membrane is made of coated PP nonwoven (mono-material), is ecologically and building-biology safe and can be recycled without difficulty. For a permanently airtight installation, we recommend the coordinated products of the Targo sealing & bonding system (system warranty).
Advantages
-
Very robust yet flexible – high mechanical stability
-
Translucent: makes alignment, overlaps and installation easier
-
Especially suitable for blown-in insulation (stable, practical)
-
Mono-material, coated PP nonwoven – recyclable and building-biology safe
Installation
-
Overlap: according to the marking line, at least 10 cm.
-
Placement: install the vapour barrier with the print facing the installer.
-
Blown-in insulation: relieve joints that are not directly on a rafter with a support batten; install the battens that carry the insulation load before blowing in; make the blow-in opening as a “star cut”.
-
Substrate: dry, free of dust and grease; prime porous/dusty substrates (e.g. TargoPRIMER S/W).
-
Seal overlaps airtight: e.g. with TargoRAPID or TargoBENDIX; press/rub down the bonding area firmly.
-
Wall connections: e.g. with TargoFIX SK or alternatively with TargoWALLIT / TargoWALLIT PLUS.
-
Seal penetrations: e.g. with TargoFlex or TargoBENDIX.
