MEHABIT Levelling Fill – Insulating & Levelling Granulate with Adhesive Effect 22 x 100 L Bag
MEHABIT is a universally applicable, building authority approved insulating and levelling granulate in accordance with DIN 18560-2. It is made of hemp shives with solvent-free bitumen. The bituminisation creates an adhesive effect – the granulate bonds into a “bonded form” and forms a seamless, stable insulating and levelling layer.
Properties & Benefits
-
Bonded, seamless insulating and levelling layer thanks to the adhesive effect
-
Highly load-bearing – also suitable for higher loads, as the granulate does not abrade
-
Low weight – hardly any impact on structural load
-
Dust-free
-
General building authority approval: DIBt Z-23.11-1185
-
Meets the requirements of DIN 18560-2:2022-08
Areas of Application
-
Levelling on concrete floors or timber beam ceilings with high compressive load capacity
-
As a substructure under dry screeds, wet screeds and mastic asphalt screeds
-
Stable filling/covering of voids and bundles of pipes
Recommended Installation Thickness
Installation Notes
-
Install only on a dry substrate; ensure adequate moisture protection.
-
Waterproofing against ground moisture/non-pressurised water must be provided before installation (planning by the building designer; for components in contact with the ground, waterproof in accordance with DIN standards).
-
For higher or dynamic loads, ensure sufficient load distribution (e.g. load distribution board) so that compaction remains even.
-
Observe general installation and laying guidelines as well as build-up recommendations.
