MEHABIT Levelling Fill – Insulating and Levelling Fill with Bonding Effect, Pallet 22 x 100 l Bags
MEHABIT is a universally applicable, building authority approved insulating and levelling fill in accordance with DIN 18560-2. It consists of hemp shives with solvent-free bitumen. The bituminization creates a bonding effect, causing the fill to bond into a “bound form” and creating a seamless, stable insulating and levelling layer.
Properties and Benefits
- Bound, seamless insulating and levelling layer due to the bonding effect
- Highly load-bearing, also suitable for higher loads, as the fill does not crumble
- Low weight, with hardly any impact on statics
- Dust-free
- Building authority approval: DIBt Z-23.11-1185
- Meets the requirements of DIN 18560-2:2022-08
Applications
- Height levelling on concrete or wooden beam floors with high compressive strength
- As a substructure under dry, wet, and mastic asphalt screeds
- Stable filling/covering of voids and pipe bundles
Recommended Installation Thickness
- From 10 mm (in small areas) up to 200 mm, tapering down to zero in places
- On smooth substrates (e.g. foil), minimum thickness approx. 10 mm
Installation Notes
- Install only on a dry substrate and ensure adequate moisture protection.
- Sealing against ground moisture and non-pressing water must be completed before installation (planned by the building designer, seal below-ground components in accordance with DIN).
- For higher or dynamic loads, ensure sufficient load distribution (e.g. load distribution board) so that compaction remains even.
- Observe general processing and installation guidelines as well as recommended floor build-ups.
