Flexible sealing tape with fleece and a coating of high-adhesion elastomer bitumen.
Especially suitable for bonding wood fibre insulation boards to chimneys, valleys as well as connections to roof windows. Suitable for use in the plinth/base area of timber-frame houses, as a damp-proof course (DPC) etc. Stretchable up to 30%.

Application instructions (for maximum adhesion)
1) Prepare the substrate
The substrate must be dry, clean, dust- & grease-free
Abrasion-resistant and load-bearing
No silicone-containing residues / no silicone-based substrates
2) Primer/bonding agent depending on the substrate
Porous/monolithic substrates (e.g. stone, rough concrete, plaster): use Universal Primer
Wood fibre insulation boards, old timber boarding: use Bitumen Pre-Coat V
3) Observe the temperature
Minimum temperature: 10 °C (tape and substrate)
For improved adhesion: warm the substrate and tape to approx. 20 °C
4) Positioning
Align the tape and cut to size
Peel off the release liner gradually
5) Apply & press down
Place the tape and press down firmly
Avoid voids/air bubbles
Ideal: use an application/pressure roller
Important note: The product is incompatible with silicone and must not come into contact with silicone-containing substrates. Note: Please check suitability for your specific build-up and substrate. All data are guideline values and depend on application and substrate condition.
