La description
TargoBENDIX UV is a high-performance tape for outdoor use for permanently windtight bonding of façade membranes

– especially for façades with open joints/gapped cladding. The tape is installed behind the façade cladding and is later invisible, while remaining UV-resistant and reliably performing its sealing function.
The release liner on the back is slit in the center  and can be removed from one side. Ideal for corner bonds.

Areas of application

For windtight sealing of:

  • Overlaps of façade membranes

  • Connections to building components

  • Penetrations (e.g. cables/pipes) in the façade area

Application notes

  • Substrates/membranes must be sound, dry, and free from dust and grease.

  • Seal overlaps and connections without gaps.

  • On strongly textured or contaminated substrates, use TargoPRIMER S / M in advance.

Important: The tape performs the function of the (air-/wind)tight seal, not that of a load-bearing connection. Connect/overlap membranes without tension and, if subjected to tensile loads, secure mechanically.
